Whether you access FrontSQL Ebiz Suite directly through your browser or you are redirected via existing websites, stoReferenceront, intranet,or extranet systems, the Presentation Layer delivers the desired content to you in a secure, personalized and configurable manner. FrontSQL Ebiz Suite uses a Model-View-Controller architecture to provide information received from the Business Logic Layer to your browser, wireless device or XML-based systems. By separating Presentation from the other layers, FrontSQL Ebiz Suite can deliver personalized information to meet your organization's look and feel requirements or predefined APIs without requiring extensive product modifications.
The Presentation Layer also enforces security and access control. Depending on your requirements, users may either be requested to enter a user ID and password to get into FrontSQL Ebiz Suite, or they may be validated using information passed from one of your internal systems, providing a single user sign-on. Access to specific resources and services within FrontSQL Ebiz Suite is granted based on the access policies defined for your users role. The Presentation Layer restricts the view and the allowed actions based on the established policies.
In addition, the Presentation Layer provides session and transaction state management, ensuring that the user has a consistent experience. Information about what he or she does in a login session flows between the different functions performed; for example, information would be passed from the ecommerce module to the accounting module. PReferenceerence management allows the end user to have control over what information is presented and in what order.
