R4s Corp Code Of Ethics
The software industry has generally not done a good job of keeping their promises to customers. We believe this failure is primarily due to enterprise software becoming too complex and inflexible, and "hit and run" business practices prevalent within the industry.
R4S Corp pledges to abide by the following code of ethics when engaging with prospective customers:
We will define success on your terms. Industry analysts say that 70 percent of software project success is due to people and business process; Only 30 percent is due to the actual software. To insure your success, we are committed to understanding your business well enough to match your requirements with the best practices we have compiled from over 60 implementations. These mutually agreed to success metrics will be the basis for determining project success. No commitment until solution is proven: To eliminate missed expectations, R4S Corp commits to fully deploy our software solutions in your operating environment prior to your commitment to us. We call this a production pilot. We do ask that you pay for any on-site consulting required to train your staff and configure our solution (generally 2 days to 2 weeks depending on complexity), but you pay nothing for the actual software license or hosting until we meet mutually agreed to success metrics. Our software will do what we say and will be easy to implement: R4S Corp is committed to fairly and accurately representing the capabilities of our solutions. Specifically, we will never intentionally mislead or misrepresent our capabilities. Also, we are committed to building software that is complete and does not require extensive customization to meet your business objectives. We encourage you to speak to our other clients about our ability to keep this promise. We will gladly provide references in your industry. Contracts are term based and customer renewable: Under a term license, your up-front costs are lowered and it is your decision as to whether you want to continue the relationship with us at the end of the term. This just makes sense to us rather than the "grab the money and run" tactics used by most software vendors. A standard term contract is for two years. Term contracts are win-win arrangements because we both have a vested interest in your success.
R4S Corp is committed to operating as an ethical software firm that keeps its promises to our customers.
